Privacy policy

This policy explains what On Record Studio collects through onrecordstudio.com, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

On Record Studio makes short-form video for personal injury law firms. We’re a remote team. For anything about your information, email hello@onrecordstudio.com.

What we collect

When you send the call-request form: your name, firm name and work email; what you’d like to do and a good time for a call; your time zone, which your browser reports automatically; and, if you choose to add them, your phone number, your firm’s state or country, the plan you’re interested in and your message.

When you email us: your email address and whatever you write.

When you visit the site: we don’t run analytics or tracking scripts. Like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

This site doesn’t set cookies and doesn’t run advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To reply to you and arrange a call.
• If your firm becomes a client, to provide our service under our agreement with your firm.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

If you’re in the UK or the EU, we rely on two legal bases: taking steps you asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries.

Who we share it with

Only the services that help us run this site and reply to you:

• Resend, which emails form requests to our inbox.
• Our email provider, which stores our messages.
• Vercel, which hosts this website and keeps short-term server logs. If a request can’t be emailed, a copy stays in those logs so we can still reply.

These providers may handle data in the United States and other countries. We don’t share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to follow up, and delete them within 24 months if your firm doesn’t become a client. Client records are kept for as long as our agreement and the law require.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email hello@onrecordstudio.com and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re in the UK, the EU or another place with data protection law, you can also object to how we use your information and complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is for businesses. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
